The Carrot Machine Fragment 22-08-2013

Just a little more… the second to last shot has been altered, the rabbit moved further away to show more robot arm/carrot action [thanks for the advice James:)] and the carrot then gets dropped by the arm, I had trouble working out the next bit if the robot arm still had the carrot in its hand, so now the draw is stuck…

The Carrot Machine Fragment 17-08-2013

New camera position for the carrot grab, with weird focal jump… unintentional but i kinda like it… other than that, same as… now the arm stops and the rabbit tries to get the carrot anyways…post

The Carrot Machine Fragment 15-08-2013

I have re-lit and re-rendered the carrot so that its no longer in shadow as it comes forward to the glass, now to get on with B. Babbit Esq’s reaction…

I am rather liking just how abstracted the individual frames are looking…

The Carrot Machine Fragment 13-08-2013

The next little bit… but rather than repeating all the earlier segments again just the last few cuts…Not sure you can really read that the carrot machine has just picked up his carrot for him in this last shot… may need to re-position the camera…

Update, I added a second of animation with the camera descending to get a close look at the carrot… which was then kinda unreadable in deep shadow…

A Quieter Blog… or… of Bunnies and wine…

“Quieter…  comparative of qui·et (Adjective) Without much activity, disturbance, or excitement.” Says google… lets focus on the “without much activity” as the rabbit and I are venturing off on a wine sampling vacation… for a short while… I’m sure you can keep your selves occupied while I’m away…

Scan10038Actually this whole post is really an excuse so I can post a drawing of the bunny with a glass of wine…

And then theres always this drawing of a dragon with a glass of plum wine…

Through the Carrot Machine Glass…

It doesn’t quite have the ring of the “looking Glass” but hey we aren’t in competition with Lewis Carroll here [luckily cos loosing sucks]… One From the bunny POV [almost] it looks way better observing from above than it does from the bunnies actual view point and one from the vending machines POV [it doesn’t really have eyes so its just from the other side of the glass…

Scan10037Update… My lovely wife last night asked me why he was holding a sock in his left hand… To which I said… he has a stripy tail… well she is rereading Harry Potter again, but might be right anyway…

Another Bunny…

i wondered what he would look like with a rounder head and a mouth… a little late for design iterations now but I was rendering so drawing another bunny seemed like a good idea…
